Caffeine for Receiver, App-V 5 Beta 2 download + more info and dedicated data collector nonsense.
Andrew Morgan did it again by creating another cool freeware utility called Caffeine for Citrix Receiver. The tool offers removing double password scenarios and keeps a Remote Session active when no interaction is performed.
App-V 5 Beta 2 is available for download. Together with the announcement two good App-V articles are posted describing the evolving the Application Extensions: Virtual Application Extensions and the future and Evolving the Integrated Experience for Virtual Applications. In this article Thomas Koetzing is writing down his thoughts that a dedicated data collector for smaller XenApp environments is unnecessary with sever valid point (although I don’t totally agree with Thomas this time).
