Citrix Receiver 8 on Windows 8 RT, PCoIP for Microsoft RDS and Citrix XenDesktop VDA Challenge.

Claudio Rodriguez configured the Citrix Receiver on a Windows 8 RT Surface and wrote down the final configuration to get it work with Citrix StoreFront and the Access Gateway (running on a NetScaler VPX) in the article Citrix Receiver for Windows 8 RT – how to get it working.

Teradici is working on a new product called Terdici Arch with bring PCoIP to Microsoft RDS. Eric Scholten is describing the current status (only VMware View Connection manager at this moment), the requirements and possibilities.

With releasing Feature Pack of XenDesktop 5.6 (RemotePC) Citrix releases another VDA installation, which cannot be used directly for all VDA implementations. Logically this does not help with smooth implementations. Shawn Bass wrote down the correct VDA installation order for each scenario, including his recommendations to Citrix to fix this indistinctness.
