About Wilco van Bragt
I'm living in the south of the Netherlands in a village near Breda (between Rotterdam and the Belgian border). After finishing my Business Information Technology (HBO) education at Fontys College I started to work in the Information Technology sector since 1999.
Since 2000 my primary focus has been end user computing using primarily Microsoft and Citrix technologies. After working for a couple of consulting firms I started my own company VanBragt.Net Consultancy in April 2008 (http://consultancy.vanbragt.net) to extend my activities. I'm working in the roles of architect, senior technical consultant and technical project leader for well-known customers in the Netherlands (commercial, non-profit and government organizations).
I'm also have written articles for (former) knonw webstites BrianMadden.com, Douglas Brown, MSTerminalServices.org and VirtualizationAdmin.com. Besides writen I'm also presenting on (former) larger events like BriForum, E2E Virtualization Congress, NGN, Heliview, DuCUG and Citrix Synergy.
From 2011 I'm also a member of the steering group for the Dutch Citrix User Group (DUCUG), where we organize (at least) two free events for the Dutch EUC Community. The goal of the DUCUG is bring peers together and offer a platform to share knowledge and ideas on virtualization topics
For my commitment to the community, I have been awarded with the titles Citrix Technology Professional (2008-2021) and Microsoft MVP (2007-2020) in the past.
